**Project Location:** The project will initially be carried out in Olmedo (Valladolid), followed by relocation to the Torrelavega area (Cantabria). This is a unique opportunity for professional growth and participation in large-scale projects within the renewable energy sector.
**Your Mission:** As a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you will play a key role during the critical plant start-up phase. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the boiler and its auxiliary systems are assembled, tested, and commissioned efficiently and safely, meeting the highest quality standards.
**Your Key Responsibilities:**
* **Supervision of Mechanical Assembly:** Lead and closely supervise the mechanical assembly of the main boiler as well as all associated auxiliary systems, ensuring correct execution of tasks according to project specifications.
* **Installation Verification:** Conduct thorough follow-up to guarantee that installation has been carried out faithfully in accordance with design drawings and applicable regulations, identifying and correcting deviations.
* **Coordination of Mechanical Tests:** Plan, coordinate, and execute the various mechanical and pre-commissioning tests required to verify equipment integrity and proper functionality prior to commissioning.
* **Incident Resolution:** Serve as the primary point of contact for identifying and resolving technical issues arising during the start-up phase, collaborating closely with other departments and teams.
* **Contractor and Subcontractor Management:** Manage and coordinate activities of various contractors and subcontractors involved in assembly and commissioning, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
* **Documentation Preparation:** Prepare and review all technical documentation related to commissioning, including test reports, procedures, and checklists.
**What We Are Looking For in You:**
* **Academic Qualification:** University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
* **Professional Experience:** Minimum of **3 years of demonstrable experience** in commissioning (Commissioning / PEM) roles for industrial facilities.
* **Specific Boiler Experience:** Proven experience in commissioning industrial boilers; experience in biomass plants, cogeneration, combined-cycle plants, thermal power stations, or Waste-to-Energy facilities is highly valued.
* **Test Management:** Solid experience coordinating mechanical tests and executing pre-commissioning activities.
* **Mobility:** Willingness for **national mobility**, including travel between different project locations.
* **Occupational Health and Safety Training:** Completion of the mandatory 60-hour Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) course is essential.
* **Skills:** Leadership capability, excellent problem-solving skills, results orientation, and strong communication and negotiation abilities.
