The company seeks to hire a Laboratory Assistant to support an animal health laboratory in Santander. **Workplace Location** -------------------- * Cantabria Region Address: Santander **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Performing analytical tasks without assuming full responsibility for complete analytical determinations. * Preparing basic solutions. * Preparing laboratory materials. * Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining equipment, materials, and facilities. * Collecting and preparing waste generated during diagnostic activities, in accordance with instructions provided by the area supervisor. * Documenting and recording data arising before, during, and after analytical processes. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the stated requirements and/or merits must be substantiated either by passing evaluation tests and/or by attaching the required documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request at any stage of the process documentary evidence supporting the information declared in the application, as well as to require additional information from the candidate’s CV whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits specified in this job posting. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Vocational Training Level I (FP I) or Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio) in professional fields including Health, Chemistry, Food Industries, Safety and Environment, Agriculture, and/or Maritime-Fisheries (qualification officially recognized in Spain). **Merits (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Prior Experience** * 6 months to 3 years of laboratory-related work experience (with formal employment contract) * 6 months to 2 years of experience in immunological techniques, PCR, and/or ELISA (with formal employment contract) ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Other verifiable theoretical courses/training in laboratory-related subjects (distinct from the required qualification) **Observations** ----------------- * Offered: + Fixed-term contract estimated to last 4 months. + Consideration may be given to a trainee contract depending on received applications. In such case, a fixed-term trainee contract estimated to last 6 months would be offered, with a possible extension of another 6 months if applicable.
