Truck Driver (Trailer)

Transportes y Logística Ramón Gutiérrez, S.L. is seeking to hire **2 trailer drivers** to perform national transport routes departing from its base in **Tagle, Cantabria**. The activity will be carried out using **tarpaulin-covered trailers or container carriers**, primarily transporting dry cargo. Selected candidates will generally remain away from home during the week and must return the vehicle to the base every weekend. ### **Responsibilities** * Driving tarpaulin-covered trailers or container carriers. * Performing national routes. * Transporting dry cargo. * Adhering to loading and unloading schedules. * Managing transport documentation. * Correct use of the digital tachograph. * Complying with legal driving times, breaks, and rest periods. * Conducting basic vehicle condition checks. * Reporting incidents occurring during service. * Mandatory return of the vehicle to the Tagle base every weekend. ### **Requirements** * Valid driving license **C\+E**. * Valid **Certificate of Professional Competence (CAP)**. * Valid digital tachograph card. * Minimum verifiable experience of **1 year driving trailers**. * Experience or availability to carry out national transport. * Experience with tarpaulin-covered trailers or container carriers is desirable. * Availability to remain away from home during the week. * Availability to depart approximately **two Sundays per month**. * Flexible working hours. * Residence in Cantabria or nearby areas, or willingness to work from the Tagle base. * Responsible, committed, and autonomous profile in route management. * An updated CV, employment history, and professional references will be required. ### **Conditions** * Approximate salary of **2\.700 € net per month in 12 payments**. * Regular activity from Monday to Friday. * Remaining away from home during the week. * Possibility of spending a night at home when the route coincides with the residential area, without guarantee of daily return. * Departures approximately two Sundays per month, paid additionally: + Departure before 13:00: **90 € additional**. + Departure after lunch: **50 € additional**. * Variable schedule depending on the route, destination, and loading/unloading times. * Joining a company that organizes operations in compliance with tachograph regulations and legal driving and rest time requirements.
