The candidate must have specialized knowledge in "Understanding the value chain of digital manufacturing and additive manufacturing, as well as the integration of digital, programming, and manufacturing constraints associated with construction products and processes", to be used in developing efficient digital tools and algorithms for design and automation. **If you are passionate about additive manufacturing, automation, and computational design, and want to work on real-world projects transforming the construction sector, this position is for you.** **What will you do?** * Actively lead technical development in R\+D projects, particularly tasks related to data and design for manufacturing processes focused on: large-scale 3D printed products for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), as well as industrialized construction systems. * Create advanced, high-value-added solutions for the sector, with experience in system integration and development of robotic programming and digital manufacturing processes. * Generate novel ideas and conduct brainstorming sessions to develop solutions for the AEC industry, translating emerging concepts into innovative research directions and practical outcomes. * Implement and develop scripts, design workflows, and hardware-software integration for digital manufacturing-based processes. Preferably with a Master’s degree in Construction Technology, Digital Fabrication and Robotics, Computational Design and Optimization, Robotics, Systems and Control, or Computer Science. **Minimum of 3\-5 years of experience** in large-scale additive manufacturing applied to construction, with knowledge across the entire value chain (hardware \+ software \+ process). **Previous experience of 3\-5 years in R\+D projects**, demonstrating creative and innovative approaches, providing disruptive solutions and innovative thinking in both public and private projects. **Proficiency in English, at least C1 level or equivalent.** **Solid knowledge in:** * **3D computer vision** and point cloud reconstruction and navigation for automation of robotic construction processes.
