You will serve as the technical reference for **Data Roaming, 4G/5G Core, VoLTE, GTP, MEC, Kubernetes, and cloud environments**. You will lead **end-to-end solutions**, PoCs, and technological evolution toward 5G. You will be part of a senior, collaborative, autonomous team focused on innovation. **How do we envision you?** * Develop and define technical and evolution requirements for the Mobile Core and its VAS, including Data Roaming monitoring and transport, GTPv1, GTPv2, DNS, GGSN/PGW, DBO, and GTP Proxy. * Lead technical projects with direct interaction with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders. * Documentation and training for internal TGS units and customers. * Third-level operational support. * Lead and define PoCs for new technologies. * Technical and economic analysis for new business opportunities. * Collaborate with multiple vendors for designing and deploying Data Roaming solutions. * Lead the RFP process for vendor selection. * End-to-end project management to ensure target deadlines are met and raise alerts in case of any risks. **What we’re looking for** * Degree in Telecommunications, Communication Systems, or related fields; solid understanding of IP networks and protocols across 3G, 4G, and 5G. * **8 years** of proven experience in Engineering + Operations, and leading cross-functional and international projects. * Proven experience working for an MNO (Mobile Network Operator). * Proven experience in deployment, engineering, configuration, delivery, and operation of various mobile network elements and protocols: GTPv1, GTPv2, PGW/GGSN, SGW/SGSN, DNS, GTP Proxy, Firewall, VAS, IP Protocol, DPI, BGP, Static Routes, NAT, CGNAT, CUPS, 5G Core. * Experience with bare metal, virtualization & public cloud, Kubernetes, and private environments. * Solid understanding and standard analysis of packet core protocols: GTPc-u, GTP-u, DNS, VoLTE, and 5G. * Knowledge of DNS protocols for APN resolution and internet navigation. * Experience using monitoring and signaling tracing tools. * Experience writing and evaluating RFP documents. * Knowledge of 5G and MEC architectures.
