Could you be the full\-time **Sub System Project Manager** in **Bilbao** we’re looking for? **Your future role** Take on a new challenge and apply your project managing expertise in a new cutting\-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates. You'll lead the execution of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality, cost and safety requirements. Day\-to\-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (stakeholders and internal departments), coordinate and synchronize all project activities and stakeholders and much more. You’ll specifically take care of análysis of contractual obligations, but also manage multidisplinary teams internal and external. We’ll look to you for: * Oversee project planning, risk management, change control, cost management and stakeholder communication. * Ensure the proper integration of activities with other involved sites and department. * Supervise the fulfillment of contractual commitments and project scope. * Represent the project in front of clients and key internal functions monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed; * Prepare and present project reports and updates to management and stakeholders. **All about you** We value passion and attitude over experience. This role is pivotal in shaping the architecture and core algorithms of advanced Location Based Services (LBS) for traffic management and tolling. **Key Responsibilities** * Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable GIS platforms and GNSS based services including the data ingestion, near real\-time processing, storage, data analytics and visualization * Lead the design, implementation and refinement of geo\-spatial algorithms and optimized data models for geo\-queries, map matching, shortest path finding, maps conflation, etc. * Design, develop and refine the probabilistic models, typically used in Hidden Markov Models to deal with GNSS data, based on both, statistical analysis and machine learning * Evaluate and select appropriate technologies for location\-based services * Research on data and algorithmic processing * Optimize performance of maps, spatial queries and geo\-processing tasks * Develop machine learning models such as transition probability estimation * Collaborate with data scientists, software and QA automation engineers, and domain experts * Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical system requirements * Work closely with development teams to deliver top quality work **Profile** * Master’s or PhD in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field * + Proven experience (5\+ years) in system architecture, spatial databases, and statistical modeling * Solid understanding of GIS concepts, spatial data structures, coordinate systems, and map projections * Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL * Practical knowhow of geo\-spatial libraries * Experience with ML/DL applied to spatial data of advantage * Experience of real\-time data processing and streaming using e.g., Kafka, MQTT of advantage * Working experience with IoT, GPS tracking of advantage * Collaborative mindset and ability to work across interdisciplinary teams * Strong communication and technical leadership skills * Very good oral and written English skills **Our offer** * Permanent role * Flexible working hours * Hybrid working model (3 days of remote work/week) * 30 business days of annual leave * Flexible remuneration plan * An interesting full\-time position within a global renowned family owned company. * Challenging limits of mobility for a healthy world without congestion * Space for creating innovative solutions and ideas for our fast growing markets
