FUNCTIONS THE MAIN FUNCTIONS YOU WILL CARRY OUT ARE… * Develop, monitor and evaluate the organization’s Global Citizenship Education Strategy in the Autonomous Community and its corresponding annual plans, focusing on quality, effectiveness, efficiency and impact. * Coordinate and supervise the team in building capacities for GCE projects aligned with UNRWA Spain’s mission and vision in the Basque Country. * Coordinate the team in identifying, designing, submitting to calls, implementing and executing GCE and awareness-raising projects, in line with the organization’s mission/vision and donor regulations (including: planning project implementation on time and as scheduled, scheduling, task distribution, etc.). * Coordinate the team in properly monitoring and technically and financially justifying projects according to the regulations of Basque donors and internal procedures of UNRWA Spain. This includes analyzing risks and defining and implementing mitigation and/or prevention strategies. * Ensure timely submission of technical and financial justification reports to donors for assigned projects, coordinated with the involved team. * Guide and coordinate, together with the team, educational and awareness-raising methodologies and products—such as teaching guides, courses, lectures, workshops, concerts, theatrical performances, etc.—and other events to raise public awareness. * Guide and support the team in producing communication materials (posters, agendas, social media posts, emails, press releases, etc.) for effective dissemination and outreach of awareness-raising activities targeting specific audiences. * Supervise drafting of tenders and contracts, and coordinate relationships with suppliers to ensure proper project execution in line with UNRWA Spain’s and the GCE Department’s mission/vision. * Supervise and contribute to developing the delegation’s content and publications. * Participate in coordination spaces with other NGOs, institutions and platforms (e.g., the Basque Country NGO Coordination Platform) and social movements defined in the Delegation’s GCE Strategy. * Develop, maintain and strengthen alliances with universities, educational centers, municipal, cultural and associative spaces participating in projects, as well as diverse networks, donors and other relevant entities to advance the GCE Strategy in the Autonomous Community. * Participate in and/or carry out necessary activities to promote UNRWA’s role, mission, vision and objectives before various public and private entities and civil society in the Autonomous Community. * Coordinate updating of the Delegation’s Contact Database. PROFILE FOR OUR ORGANIZATION, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAVE… * Intermediate or higher education degree in Social Sciences; a Master’s or Postgraduate degree in Logical Framework, GCE, Human Rights, Gender, Interculturality or Project Management is highly valued. * Demonstrable professional experience coordinating teams (3 years) and Global Citizenship Education projects (5 years), preferably in the Basque Country. * Experience formulating and providing technical and financial justification in accordance with regulations of major Basque donors. * Experience designing and coordinating trainings, and developing pedagogical tools and materials through art and culture for diverse audiences. * Experience in public relations and representation (effective public speaking and presentations). * Experience contracting and managing suppliers. * Knowledge of the Basque Country’s cultural, solidarity and artistic landscape. * Advanced proficiency in Office 365 and basic familiarity with AI tools and Canva. * English: autonomous conversational ability to coordinate field activities. * Basque: intermediate level.
