You will work on projects where you’ll understand how security capabilities operate internally (SOC, detection, response, tools) and how they are designed and optimized from governance, strategy, and sourcing perspectives. This is an ideal role for someone who: * Has worked in a SOC and wants to broaden their strategic perspective. * Has initial technical experience and wants to move into consulting. * Wants to understand how cybersecurity operating models are designed. **Responsibilities** At the operational / technical level * Support security capability assessments (SOC, SIEM, EDR, IAM). * Analyze technical documentation and security architecture. * Participate in cybersecurity posture assessments. * Collaborate on risk analysis and gap analysis. * Support review of alerts, detection and response processes (as per project). At the tactical / consulting level * Participate in cybersecurity maturity projects (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.). * Support definition of functional and technical requirements. * Contribute to development of improvement roadmaps. * Document security processes and operating models. * Prepare client-facing materials and presentations. Technical knowledge * Practical knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and monitoring tools. * Basic understanding of incident detection and response. * General knowledge of networks, cloud, and IT architecture. * Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001 (desirable). Preferred qualifications * Experience in MSSP environments. * Entry-level certifications (Security+, CySA+, ISO 27001 Foundation, etc.).
