Home Care Assistant

Description

We are seeking a person to work as a home care assistant in the municipalities of Simancas, Geria, and Ciguñuela, in Valladolid. Tasks include supporting users in their own homes: assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, putting on shoes, and eating; also performing household activities such as preparing meals, grocery shopping, washing, and ironing. Additionally, responsibilities include intra-dwelling mobility assistance, postural changes, accompanying users on walks or medical appointments, and leisure activities. Working hours will be from Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 14:00, totaling 25 hours per week. A temporary 4-month contract is offered to cover a leave of absence. Applicants must have prior experience in similar positions or hold a qualification such as a Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate in Nursing Auxiliary Care, a Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate in Care for Dependent Persons, or the Professional Certification in Socio-Healthcare Assistance. Candidates not residing in the area must possess a valid driver's license and their own vehicle to commute to work.
