The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the comprehensive supervision of operations during their assigned shift, ensuring that production processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with established quality standards. Their primary duties include coordinating personnel under their supervision, detailed daily task planning, and implementing production strategies defined by management. Additionally, they must closely monitor process execution to anticipate and resolve incidents, actively collaborating with the maintenance department to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity. A fundamental aspect of this role is ensuring strict compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations, promoting a preventive culture within the team and carrying out necessary corrective actions. The professional will also conduct continuous quality control of the product across various manufacturing stages, reporting any deviations and proposing improvements to procedures. Fluid communication with other departments and preparing accurate reports for management are key activities to align shift objectives with the plant’s overall strategy. This position requires active on-site presence and immediate responsiveness to unforeseen events, serving as the primary point of reference for the team during the shift. The Shift Supervisor must foster a collaborative work environment that values proactivity and practical problem-solving, thereby contributing to colleagues’ professional development and to achieving the company’s production and efficiency goals. The position includes biannual salary reviews and is offered under a temporary contract, with prospects for stable employment within the company in the medium term, subject to performance and results.
