Job Summary: We are seeking home care assistants to provide direct attention and support to users in their daily activities at home. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance with bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding. 2. Household care activities: meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and ironing. 3. Accompaniment outside the home for walks or medical appointments. We are looking for home care assistants for the Palencia city area. Main duties will include providing direct attention to users in their homes, following guidelines established by the service’s responsible technicians. This includes assistance and supervision with bathing and personal hygiene, help with dressing, footwear, and feeding. Household care activities such as meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and ironing will also be performed. Duties encompass mobility assistance and postural changes within the home, as well as external accompaniment for walks or medical appointments. A weekly working schedule of 30 hours is offered, with flexible hours from Monday to Sunday, distributed across mornings and/or afternoons, respecting statutory rest periods. The contract is temporary, lasting approximately six months, to cover vacation-related staffing needs. Prior experience in similar positions or relevant training—such as a Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate in Nursing Assistant Care, a Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate in Care for Dependent Persons, or a Professional Certification in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons—will be valued.
