Job Summary: We are seeking home care assistants to provide direct attention and support in daily activities to users in their homes. Key Points: 1. Direct attention and supervision of personal hygiene and nutrition. 2. Home care activities and external accompaniment. 3. Prior experience or sociosanitary training is valued. We are seeking home care assistants for the Palencia city area. Main responsibilities will include providing direct attention to users in their homes, following guidelines established by the service’s responsible technicians. This includes assistance and supervision with bathing and personal hygiene, help with dressing, footwear, and nutrition. Home care activities such as meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and ironing will also be carried out. Duties encompass mobility assistance and postural changes within the home, as well as external accompaniment for walks or medical appointments. A weekly working schedule of 30 hours is offered, with flexible hours from Monday to Sunday, distributed between mornings and/or afternoons, respecting statutory rest periods. The contract is temporary, lasting approximately six months, to cover vacation-related staffing needs. Prior experience in similar roles or related training—such as a Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate in Nursing Auxiliary Care, a Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate in Care for Dependent Persons, or a Professional Certification in Sociosanitary Care for Dependent Persons—will be valued.
