The environment primarily consists of Red Hat portfolio platforms (JBoss EAP, Apache HTTPD, Tomcat, RabbitMQ, Kafka), coexisting with IBM WebSphere enterprise technologies. Your role will be pivotal in leading the technical team, ensuring service continuity, coordinating across multiple internal areas, and guaranteeing that platforms operate at the highest standards of security and performance. Your key responsibilities will include: Leadership and coordination * Lead and coordinate a team of middleware specialists. * Manage workloads, priorities, on-call duties, and team development. * Facilitate smooth communication with architecture, development, security, infrastructure, and business units. Middleware platform operations and management * Ensure availability, performance, and scalability of environments: * **JBoss EAP, Apache HTTPD, Tomcat, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and WebSphere (ND / Liberty)**. * Monitor and prioritize maintenance activities, updates, and patches. * Ensure hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance with bank policies. Service and incident management * Manage Major Incidents and coordinate end-to-end resolution. * Conduct post-mortem analyses (RCA) and lead action plans to prevent recurrence. * Oversee change, problem, and configuration management processes, following **ITIL** practices. SLA, KPIs, and reporting * Define, monitor, and report on service **SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs**. * Prepare periodic status, capacity, and performance reports for the environments. Vendor and vendor management * Manage relationships and escalations with **Red Hat, IBM**, and other key vendors. * Coordinate third-level support, renewals, and contracts. Continuous improvement, automation, and innovation * Drive automation initiatives (Ansible, scripting, CI/CD pipelines). * Lead migrations, modernizations, and technical debt reduction. * Ensure compliance with banking regulations: security, auditing, operational continuity, and resilience. Essential technical knowledge * Automation: **Ansible** (CI/CD with Jenkins or GitLab is a plus). * Observability: Elastic, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar tools. * Strong networking, perimeter security, and TLS/SSL certificate knowledge. Desirable technical competencies * Experience with hybrid cloud: **OpenShift, AWS, Azure, GCP**. * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and platform modernization. * Certifications: Red Hat (RHCA/RHCE), IBM WebSphere, ITIL v4, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
