DESCRIPTION Grupo Arestora requires a **QUALITY AREA CONTROLLER** for the **FOOD INDUSTRY** located in the province of **Pontevedra**. **OFFERED:** * Stable position. * Full-time working hours. Split schedule Monday to Friday, 9\-14 and 15\-18 h. * Salary to be negotiated according to candidate’s qualifications. * Opportunity to join an **ESTABLISHED COMPANY** in the sector. **JOB MISSION**: Monitoring and control of the company’s quality department and quality management system. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Review and application of QUALITY STANDARDS within the company. * Implementation, monitoring and control of quality standards (BRC, IFS, ISO, FDA, MSC, etc.). * Coordination and leadership of quality resources. * Conducting internal quality AUDITS and participation in external audits. * Management of the LABORATORY. * Control and supervision of TRACEABILITY for raw materials and finished products. * Handling COMPLAINTS from major accounts. REQUIREMENTS * University degree: Biology, Chemistry, Food Engineering and/or related fields. * More than **5 YEARS** of experience in similar roles within the **QUALITY** department. * Experience in **CRITICAL POINTS OF CANNING AND STERILIZATION (canned goods).** * Prior experience **LEADING A TEAM** in the laboratory/quality department. * Experience implementing and controlling quality standards such as **BRC, IFS, ISO, FDA, MSC**, etc. * Advanced **ENGLISH**, minimum B2 level, demonstrable. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Experience using ERP systems. * Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
