Currently, our IT Department seeks to incorporate a Database Administrator (Cloud DBA / Data Strategist) into the Digital Transformation team. At Servinform, data is the cornerstone of our intelligent automation services (RPA, IDP, STT/TTS, text analytics, AI/GenAI, etc.). We seek a DBA who has evolved from traditional operational maintenance toward data strategy and reliability engineering. This profile will not only administer servers but also design and orchestrate distributed, hybrid, and serverless ecosystems that power our AI and GenAI solutions. What will be your **responsibilities**? * Service Design and Provisioning: Collaborate with architects and developers to design efficient and scalable database schemas. o Implement and configure database management systems (DBMS) in on-premises and cloud environments (Cloud SQL, Azure SQL, BigQuery). Design high-availability and disaster recovery architectures (Always On, Data Guard, Repmgr) to ensure business continuity. * Administration and Maintenance: Ensure the integrity, availability, and security of corporate and customer information. Design and validate backup and recovery strategies. Manage the data lifecycle, including complex migrations between on-premises platforms and the cloud. * Performance Optimization: Perform proactive performance tuning through analysis of execution plans and optimizer statistics. Optimize storage and compute in columnar environments such as BigQuery by applying partitioning and clustering to improve cost efficiency. Manage advanced memory configurations (shared_buffers, work_mem) in PostgreSQL environments. * AI Support and Incident Resolution: Enable AI capabilities within the database, such as AI Vector Search for semantic similarity searches in Oracle 23ai or BigQuery. Diagnose and resolve locks, deadlocks, and real-time performance incidents. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Oracle Database: Physical database profiling, mastery of multitenant architecture (CDB/PDB), RMAN management, and advanced diagnostics using AWR/ASH reports. * Microsoft SQL Server: Experience with the BI trilogy (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), complex ETL processes, and Always On availability group management. * PostgreSQL: In-depth knowledge of the engine, use of extensions (pg_stat_statements), and graphical tools such as pgAdmin. * Cloud Computing: Experience administering data services on Google Cloud (Bigtable, Spanner) and Azure Database. * Automation: Ability to develop scripts in Python or PowerShell and use infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/Ansible) to automate repetitive tasks. * Security: Implementation of encryption (TDE, SSL/TLS), identity management (IAM), and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR). EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS (DESIRABLE) * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent. * Google Professional Cloud Database Engineer or Professional Data Engineer. * Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300). * Oracle Database Administration Certified Professional. * EDB PostgreSQL Professional.
