Responsibilities: 1\. Be responsible for direct patient care according to the nursing care plan for assigned patients, ensuring their safety throughout the care process. 2\. Make appropriate entries in the patient's medical record. 3\. Prepare necessary materials for each surgical procedure and assist the medical team during interventions according to established protocols for each medical-surgical specialty. 4\. Remain alert to emergencies and critical situations, being able to act appropriately under such circumstances. 5\. Demonstrate consistency and interest in patient follow-up and monitoring, informing them about how care will be provided and on any other required matters, respecting standards of excellent quality care. 6\. Respect and maintain an appropriate relationship with patients and their families, contributing to the promotion and maintenance of a professional and respectful environment. Providing also information and education tailored appropriately to their needs. 7\. Knowledge: 1\.\- Standards, protocols, and procedures of the unit. 2\.\- Equipment and instrumentation used in the surgical area. 3\.\- Information and educational materials for patients and their families.
