Collaboration on engineering product design projects. **Carrier** is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Junior) to join an HVAC product design team, with a focus on electrical systems for rooftop units and chillers. **Responsibilities** * Design the complete electrical system for equipment, including electrical panel design, component layout within the panel, and integration of other electrical and control elements into the equipment; * Define and develop cabling between components inside the electrical panel and various equipment elements, ensuring correct connection and functionality; * Select appropriate electrical components based on required performance specifications and in compliance with current technical standards; * Develop electrical schematics for equipment and optional configurations, as well as the corresponding wire list, ensuring traceability and clarity of technical documentation; * Actively collaborate on product design projects with the engineering team (3D, design, and validation). **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field; * Basic knowledge of electricity and electrical systems; * Familiarity with 2D/3D design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Creo Parametric, or similar); * Analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and capacity to prioritize tasks; * Sufficient English proficiency to conduct conversations. **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior knowledge of the HVAC, air conditioning, or industrial refrigeration sector; * Academic experience or projects involving electrical panel design and electrical schematics. **Carrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
