Identify guest reservation needs and determine the appropriate room type. Verify availability of room type and rate. Explain guarantee policies, special rates, and cancellation policies to callers. Address and document special requests. Answer questions about property facilities and services and about room accommodations. Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue. Enter and access data in the reservation system. Designate types of special room reservations (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agency inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by entering the correct code and rate into the reservation system. Follow escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns. Comply with company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect guest and colleague privacy and security. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate their service needs and address them; thank them with genuine appreciation; assist people with disabilities. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using proper etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns. Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
