We are looking for a data professional with ecommerce experience to join our Data team. The ideal candidate must have strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, as well as skills in business process modeling and optimization. They should also be able to interact with different business areas, understand their needs, and translate them into efficient data solutions. Responsibilities * SQL analysis and query generation: * + Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries for large volumes of data. + Extract, transform, and analyze data ensuring its integrity and quality. + Automate reports and provide key information for decision-making. * Data management and modeling: * + Design efficient data structures for use in reporting and analysis. + Define, maintain, and improve the data structure in the DWH. + Ensure data quality and collaborate with technology teams to enhance reliability. * Data visualization * + Automate customized reports and dashboards. * Business and stakeholder interaction: * + Meet with marketing teams or other departments to understand their needs. + Translate business requirements into actionable data solutions. + Propose and develop new metrics and data-driven approaches. * Technical Skills: * + Fluent spoken and written English is essential. + Advanced SQL mastery, with the ability to write optimized and structured queries. + Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Superset, Power BI, etc.). + Knowledge of Python. + Familiarity with cloud tools (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.). * Soft Skills: * + Analytical mindset and results orientation. + Ability to interact with business teams and understand their needs. + Skill in clearly and effectively communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders. + Teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration. Plus (Not required, but valued) * Experience in data modeling within ETL/ELT environments. * Knowledge of AB Testing and data experimentation. * Experience with Airflow, GA4, Apache Druid, Apache Superset, and BigQuery. * Understanding of layered architecture in a DWH (staging, curated, foundation, access).
