Oxigent Technologies is seeking a **Java Developer** to join a Barcelona-based software company specializing in healthcare solutions, primarily for health insurance mutuals. Your **mission** will be to contribute to the development of technological solutions for the healthcare sector, building scalable, high-impact systems that improve efficiency and patient care — from design through production — within **backend** projects deployed in **Cloud Native** environments and modern **microservices-based** architectures. **What will be your main responsibilities?** * End-to-end development of solutions using **Java and Spring Boot**, targeting both **Cloud Native and On-Premise** architectures * Design and implementation of **REST APIs** and reusable components * Active participation in designing **microservices architectures (Hexagonal, SOLID, IoC)** * Performance and data access optimization in **high-volume** systems * Resolution of issues related to **performance and high availability** * Implementation of development best practices: **TDD, testing, CI/CD** * Evaluation and integration of **new technologies** to enhance architecture * Definition of **backend development guidelines** * Technical support and mentoring for other developers * Application of **AI in the SDLC** and emerging methodologies such as **VibeCoding** **What do you need?** * Solid experience with **Java (8–17/21\) and language evolution** * Proficiency in **Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Spring Data** * Experience developing **microservices and REST API design** * Knowledge of **Hibernate / JPA / jOOQ** * Experience with **Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)** and containers (**Docker, Kubernetes**) * Familiarity with **SQL and NoSQL databases** * Experience in **SQL performance optimization** * Knowledge of **testing (JUnit)** and quality tools (**Sonar**) * Proficiency with **Git (Git Flow)** and/or SVN **Desirable** * Experience with **Terraform, Ansible (IaC)** * Messaging systems (**Kafka, RabbitMQ**) * DevOps tools (**Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Selenium**) * Experience with **Camunda BPM** * Knowledge of **security (OWASP / SDL)** * Experience with **AI applied to development** * Frontend or complementary technology knowledge (**Node**, **Angular**, etc.) **What do we offer?** * **Permanent contract** for a stable, long-term project * **Competitive salary: €45,000 – €50,000** * **Hybrid work model (3 days remote work)** * Location: **Barcelona (Plaza Lesseps)** * Continuous training (Training voucher) * Private health insurance * Flexible compensation * Discounted gym access And many more benefits!
