DESCRIPTION Our client, the number one wholesaler in the world for luxury resorts in Maldives, Seychelles, United Arab Emirates and South Africa, is looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join their team. The Junior Data Scientist role supports the company's digital transformation by developing artificial intelligence models and advanced analytics to enhance customer experience and decision-making, collaborating within teams to build scalable solutions, automate processes, and deliver actionable insights in an international and dynamic environment. **Responsibilities** * Contribute to the development of advanced analytical and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, such as AI agents and hybrid models, to support decision-making and internal process optimization. * Support workflow automation initiatives and strengthen the company’s transition toward a more AI- and data-driven model. * Develop and train machine learning models for business use cases (segmentation, prediction, scoring systems), prioritizing scalability and impact. * Collaborate with product, sales, operations, and marketing teams to understand requirements and deliver actionable analyses. * Build and maintain efficient data pipelines and analytical tools enabling internal teams to access insights through self-service. * Participate in the design and maintenance of Tableau dashboards to support departmental decision-making. * Contribute to the development and evolution of the company’s data warehouse, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility. * Stay up to date with cutting-edge AI methodologies and frameworks and apply them when relevant. * Present findings and results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. **Requirements** * 3–5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI. * Proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation. * Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB). * Experience with machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). * Ability to effectively analyze, structure, and communicate data. * Experience with version control tools (Git) and collaborative development workflows. * Desirable: familiarity with business intelligence tools. * Desirable: experience contributing to the design of data warehouses and analytical architectures. * Passion for applying data and AI to improve user experience and business performance.
