#### **Job Description** Solclef is seeking a senior **Procurement Manager** with extensive experience in both O\&M environments of continuous process plants and in **EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction)**, preferably within the **energy or industrial sectors (ideally petrochemical, cement, paper, etc.)**. This person will lead the procurement and supply strategy for the group's solar thermal plants, optimizing costs, timelines, and quality in line with the technical and financial objectives of projects and the O\&M needs of the CSP plants. #### **Work Mode** Hybrid #### **Department** Finance #### **Work Location** Madrid #### **Your Profile** The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, negotiation skills, and proven experience managing complex national and international procurement processes, including contracts with key suppliers, subcontractors, and critical services for Operation and Maintenance (O\&M) of our CSP plants, corporate-level services and supplies, as well as new projects. #### **Requirements** * University degree in **Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field**. An MBA or additional training in Supply Chain Management will be valued. * **10+ years of experience** in procurement, at least 5 in EPC environments. * Experience in **energy projects (renewables, oil \& gas, industrial infrastructure)** or similar industries. * Proficiency in international tendering processes, technical and commercial offer analysis, and framework contract negotiation. * Knowledge of ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, Business Central, etc.) and procurement management platforms. * Fluent **English (minimum C1 level)**. #### **Competencies** * Strong analytical ability, leadership, results orientation, and executive-level communication skills. #### **Responsibilities** * Define and execute the **procurement strategy** for Solclef's CSP plants, aligned with established cost, timeline, and quality objectives. * Lead tendering, evaluation, and negotiation processes with suppliers and subcontractors, both national and international. * Manage complex contracts for equipment, materials, and specialized technical services. * Collaborate closely with Solclef’s technical and engineering teams to ensure technical alignment of procurements, as well as commercial and risk requirements across various supplies and services. * Lead and manage the identification of global, regional, and local suppliers in areas where Solclef’s solar thermal plants are located, for bidding on required products and services, including necessary pre-qualification. * Develop and implement **KPIs and monitoring tools** to track supply chain performance, supplier performance, and internal customer satisfaction. * Work with plant teams to define spare parts inventory strategy, minimizing total stock value while ensuring timely replenishment at fleet and plant levels. * Ensure compliance with legal regulations, internal policies, and applicable ESG standards in procurement activities. * Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive continuous improvement within the supply chain. * Supervise the procurement team, fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment with high technical rigor. #### **Conditions** * Join a leading company in the solar thermal sector experiencing growth, with high-impact projects in the energy and industrial sectors. * Direct involvement in strategic procurement decisions at the corporate level. * Competitive compensation and a tailored career development plan. #### **Who We Are** Solclef is an energy asset operator, currently focused entirely on renewable generation.
