At Sener, we are looking to incorporate an FPGA Engineer for electronic equipment into our team within the Electromechanical Systems (SEM) division in Madrid (Tres Cantos). Since 1995, our Electromechanical Systems division has been a reference supplier of electromechanical systems for the world's leading space agencies (NASA, ESA, JAXA, and Roscosmos). **What you will do:** You will be part of a multidisciplinary team (hardware, software, and mechanical) developing equipment used to test control electronics and mechanisms for antenna pointing systems, robotic docking and anchoring, telescope focusing and scanning systems, among others. Your responsibilities will include: * Defining requirements for detailed FPGA specification * Defining FPGA architecture * Coding using design rules * Verification through simulations using testbenches * Validation through hardware testing * Performing code coverage checks * Conducting synthesis, implementation, and bitstream generation * Implementing place and route * Automating prior processes through scripts * Preparing associated documentation * Assisting in client reviews **What we expect from you:** * Degree in Electronic, Industrial, or Telecommunications Engineering. * Advanced level of English. * At least 2 years of experience in the position offered. * Experience with hardware description languages (VHDL/Verilog).
