The selected candidate will be responsible for: * Supporting the identification of risk factors, risk assessment, and definition of occupational health and safety measures, in compliance with applicable legislation and based on specific knowledge of the organization and company processes. * Defining preventive and protective measures against risks in the workplace, together with the corresponding control system. * Participating in consultations regarding occupational health and safety. * Informing relevant workers about identified risk factors and necessary preventive measures. * Controlling, verifying, and keeping up to date all regulatory documentation, both for equipment and for company buildings/assets. * Analyzing preventive and protective measures in response to emerging risks. * Supporting the company physician in activities related to the plant’s specific health protocol. * Supporting the definition of safety and environmental procedures. * Supporting the competent manager in ensuring the company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, by defining guidelines, ensuring constant updates, identifying improvement initiatives, and managing relevant certifications. * Supporting the HSE Manager in providing periodic reports on HSE performance and initiatives. Remaining constantly updated on new safety measures and environmental legislation * **Requirements** * Professional experience in this or a similar position: > 2–3 years. * Management experience: preferably within a multinational context of comparable scale. * Languages: English mandatory (intermediate level). * Higher education qualification*: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as: Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Public Health, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering **Why Work at Epta** At Epta, we believe people are the driving force behind our success.
