Together, we are and we make MAPFRE. * **Location:** Majadahonda, Madrid * **Department:** MAPFRE International – Regional EMEA **What will your responsibilities be in this role?** ----------------------------------------------- * Monthly financial review and analysis of the countries in the Region, including structured reporting, evolution of key ratios, income statement, and balance sheet. * Budget monitoring focusing on top-line and bottom-line performance, profitability by channel, and control of internal management expenses. * Active participation in country budget preparation, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy. * Supervision of local investment analyses, participating in investment committees, particularly in Turkey and Malta. * Support in analyzing the financial impact of strategic and local projects, including business cases and execution follow-up. * Collaboration with the reinsurance area to assess financial impacts and identify synergies leading to cost savings. * Participation in M&A processes and integration of new operations within the Region. * Review and optimization of intragroup expenses, ensuring efficiency and alignment with profitability goals. * Monitoring of tax matters in the countries and participation in meetings with external auditors when necessary. * Analysis of capital requirements and participation in dividend calculations for each country. * Regulatory coordination and financial planning within the Region, ensuring proper application of corporate policies. * Cross-functional interaction with corporate areas and countries to ensure execution of global financial initiatives. * Development of technical documentation and financial processes, facilitating analysis and continuous improvement. * Monitoring of management indicators, identification of deviations, and proposal of improvement plans. **What profile are we looking for?** --------------------------------- * **Education:** University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Management. Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA, Master’s in Corporate Finance, Master’s in Financial Analysis, or Data Analytics applied to Finance will be valued. * **Experience:** At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, management control, or financial consulting within corporate environments. Experience in multinational settings collaborating with teams from different countries is required. * **Knowledge:** Solid expertise in financial and economic analysis, scenario modeling, strategic planning, financial indicator management, variance control, international accounting and financial regulations, and financial information quality. * **Tools:** Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Power BI or data visualization tools. Experience with financial ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Experience with document management and process automation tools will be positively considered. * **English level:** C1 (Advanced).
