Description
**IT and Systems Support Technician**
We are seeking to immediately hire the person who will handle office IT support and day-to-day system operations.
**What will you do in this role?**
You will serve as the office's primary technical contact. Your day combines end-user support with hands-on systems and infrastructure tasks.
· Equipment preparation, configuration, and installation: onboarding workstations for new hires and formatting/retiring devices upon staff departures.
· End-user support and incident resolution for office users: operating systems, office productivity software, access permissions, network connectivity, printers, antivirus, and malware.
· Configuration of printers, local networks, routers, and connectivity.
· Creation and support of corporate accounts and tools (email, SaaS platforms, password managers).
· Monitoring of our fleet of Linux VPS servers and response to incidents: service availability, disk space, Docker containers, certificates, and renewals.
· Domain, hosting, DNS, certificate management, and expiration tracking.
· Hardware, software, and license inventory and control.
· Management of the ticket queue in our internal support portal.
**What are we looking for?**
A solution-oriented, organized, and practically minded individual who is equally comfortable assisting the person next to them and logging into a server via SSH. An autonomous professional: here, no manual exists for every task—instead, you investigate and resolve issues independently.
**Requirements**
· Proven experience in IT support and microcomputer maintenance. Windows workstation administration; networking, printers, and device configuration.
· Command-line Linux proficiency and experience—basic or intermediate—with VPS servers.
· Knowledge of domains, DNS, hosting, and SSL certificates. Ability to prioritize incidents and respond promptly.
· Fluent Spanish. Docker and container experience is a plus. Email servers (Mailcow, Postfix), SPF/DKIM/DMARC. Microsoft 365 and mailbox migrations.
· End-to-end workstation lifecycle management: onboarding, offboarding, inventory, and security.
**What do we offer?**
· Stable and immediate hiring.
· 100% on-site position in Las Rozas de Madrid.
· Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM\.
· Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
· A dynamic environment where you’ll handle everything—from setting up workstations to administering production servers.
Salary: Starting from €24,000.00 per year
Work location: On-site employment
