Description

We are seeking a cook for an establishment in Villanueva de la Jara (Cuenca). Responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items, as well as performing mise en place, organizing the assigned kitchen area, and ensuring proper food storage. The candidate will also handle goods receipt, storage, and stock rotation; conduct basic inventory control; and communicate procurement requirements. Additional duties include cleaning and maintaining utensils, machinery, and surfaces; applying food hygiene and safety regulations; coordinating with front-of-house staff; and collaborating with the kitchen team. A minimum of 3 months' experience in a kitchen is required. This position offers an indefinite full-time contract with rotating shifts. The gross monthly salary is €1,625, including pro-rated extra payments according to the Cuenca Hospitality Collective Agreement. The start date will be as soon as possible.
