At Quintas Energy we want to accelerate the energy transition, and we need a skilled **Accounting Manager** for the Italian portfolio in our Seville office to help achieve this. For this role, full professional fluency in **Italian and English is essential**, **Spanish is a plus**. This position requires an experienced professional with strong technical expertise in accounting and financial management, and the ability to coordinate teams and improve internal processes. **Responsibilities:** * Review of general accounts, accruals and prepayments, invoicing and bookkeeping to SPVs * Review of Credit control, budgets, cash flows and payments online under BACs and CHAPs * Review of Balance Sheet reconciliations * Review of preparation of VAT returns / Preparation of Corporation tax provisions * Dealing with customers and other departments especially engineering and legal * Completion of annual statutory accounts under IFRS or FRS. * Supervision of month end closes and reports * Liaison with auditors * Involvement in annual close procedure * Drafting a procedures manual and updating of all procedures applicable to the clients portfolio * Review of associates work under Sox matrix2 * Excellent communication skills over email and telephone. * Must be able to work in a team environment and in a client facing role. * Must be able to adapt and flex to a changing environment. * Must have analytical, communication, and computer skills. * Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes. * Attention to detail. * Ability to meet deadlines. * Ability to solve problems, take responsibility and start adding value to the team immediately. * Ethical behaviour. **What we offer:** * Direct exposure to the business. * 9 to 5 schedule with 60 minutes of paid break. * 22 days of holiday. * Other social benefits as paid time off on December 24th and 31st, as well as on your birthday starting from the second year of your contract. CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred. * Minimum of 5 years of experience as Financial Accountant. * Progressive experience in financial operations, planning, budgeting and reporting. * Languages: at least B2 in Italian and English. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Expert knowledge in Excel needed including VLOOKUP’s, formulas and Pivot Tables. * Working knowledge of Italian GAAP.
