Do you recognize yourself?* You want to help us guarantee that our students live their best life * You are brave, unafraid to challenge boundaries and try new things * You are genuine, a force for good, acting responsibly towards others and the planet. * You are real, take pride in your work, and always give your utmost effort. * You are open-minded, open-hearted, and open to new ideas Responsibilities: This is a summary of what you will do:* Manage maintenance across our spaces. * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with any service level agreements (such as repairs); perform frontline maintenance and assist specialized contractors when necessary. * Complete manual tasks, support waste management, decoration and small-scale repairs, grounds maintenance, and assist the residence team in delivering any other required maintenance services. * Conduct regular health and safety checks under the protection plan, including fire safety and risk assessments, and legionella testing. * Ensure the safety of our spaces 24 hours a day and maintain an up-to-date record of all events and incidents. * Support our Yugoers team. Assist with key tasks during the summer changeover period, summer business operations, or ensuring the building is ready for new student registrations. * Support customer service and cover reception duties when needed. This is what you will need:* Previous experience within a facility or maintenance company. * Experience working in a team. * Ability to be proactive with strong problem-solving skills and initiative. * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. * Proficient user-level skills in MS Office and online systems/databases. * Reliable, responsible, friendly, and approachable person. * Also desirable: + Relevant trade qualification (carpentry, electrical, plumbing…) + Customer service experience + Experience working within student accommodation or a similar sector. + Intermediate level of English.
