Support for R&D projects and decision-making ### **Description** At Dopp, we are looking for a **Competitive and Market Intelligence Specialist** for a major **industry-leading** company in the **industrial sector**. The mission of this position is to support the department in competitive and market intelligence activities, using appropriate tools and methodologies. The role focuses on anticipating market dynamics, monitoring patents and innovations, supporting R&D projects, and contributing to strategic decision-making. **Responsibilities:** * Monitor scientific publications, patents, and specialized sources to identify relevant innovations and trends. * Conduct competitor and market analysis, including tracking product launches, technologies, and innovation strategies. * Follow emerging technologies and explore potential collaborations with external partners (research centers, universities, suppliers). * Organize and communicate findings through reports, presentations, and internal knowledge-transfer sessions. * Stay updated on regulatory and methodological changes that may impact innovation or product development. * Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal departments, ensuring alignment with business needs. * Continuously review and improve competitive and patent intelligence processes, adapting them to priorities. **Requirements:** * University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Sciences, or related fields. A master’s degree is preferred; a PhD is highly valued. * Experience in technological/patent surveillance, market intelligence, or R&D environments. * Knowledge of intellectual property systems and information management tools (e.g., WIPO, SCOPUS, ESPACENET). * Strong computer skills, including office software and data search/analysis platforms. * **English level C1 (the selection process will be conducted in English)**. Other languages (e.g., German, French) are considered a plus. * Personal competencies: Effective communication, analytical ability, teamwork, results orientation, leadership, and problem-solving.
