Supporting national-level engineering activities, promoting adoption of global standards; and designing country-specific technical solutions aligned with the regulatory framework. **Your Responsibilities Will Include:** + Developing strategic and short\-medium\-long-term macro-scenarios aimed at identifying network needs. * Collecting/extracting network data and analyzing it for simulation and detailed study to identify and prioritize network criticalities / development opportunities. * Modeling systems, installations, electricity demand, and generation for simulation and detailed study to identify and prioritize network criticalities / development opportunities. * Conducting simulation-based studies to identify and prioritize network criticalities / opportunities, and calculating network capacity. * Performing specific network analyses and studies on technical and non-technical losses, service quality, resilience, asset risk, network loading, criticalities, failures, anomalies, etc. * Automating network planning processes (network modeling, criticality detection, capacity calculation, loss calculation, etc.) via programming, AI utilization, etc. * Managing technical relationships and responding to information requests from public authorities. * Developing technical planning and optimizing solutions (capex\-opex) associated with network criticalities / development opportunities for network development, maintenance, and new connections — optimizing the capex\-opex profile (including regulatory constraints / opportunities) and network behavior (e.g., service quality, losses, etc.); * Using simulation software to study and validate proposals for electric grid development. * Participating in Working Groups with national and international DSOs to define common standards for the internal electricity market (planning, quality, losses, macro-scenarios, etc.). **What Is Required?** **Essential Requirements** for this role are: **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. **Digital Competencies:** Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Teams. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Advanced English (C1) and Italian (B1). * Experience with electrical network simulation software (PSSE v35 and/or CYMDIST); programming languages (Python, Visual Basic, Oracle…); knowledge of Python libraries specific to electrical network calculations (psspy, pandapower, etc.); electrical system and installation modeling; Power BI. * Experience involving electrical system simulation, or knowledge of the electricity sector and distribution activities; experience and skills in programming and data science. **Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Selection Process** For us, diversity and inclusion are essential elements of our daily operations; therefore, in our selection processes, we always consider all individuals who express interest and meet the required profile.
