### **Description** As part of the project development team, your main responsibility will be to execute and ensure the proper operation, updating, and optimization of the client's automatic control and instrumentation systems through advanced programming, configuration, and diagnostics of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and associated systems, contributing to the continuity and efficiency of processes related to the integrated water cycle. Key responsibilities include: * Develop, modify, and debug programs for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in the client's facilities. * Configure and adjust control and monitoring systems (SCADA, HMI, industrial networks, and equipment communications). * Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues in automation, instrumentation, and control systems. * Ensure system functionality and reliability through functional testing, simulations, and process signal verification. * Collaborate in the integration of new equipment or technological improvements into existing systems. * Create and maintain updated technical documentation of programs, configurations, versions, and operating procedures. * Coordinate with other technical team members to ensure effective incident response and safe facility management. * Comply with and enforce established quality, safety, and environmental procedures. What we are looking for? * University degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Industrial Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree, duly accredited. * Minimum of five (5) years of experience in industrial programming and maintenance of instrumentation and control equipment, preferably in facilities related to the integrated water cycle (treatment, pumping, purification, or supply). * Essential: proven experience in advanced programming of Rockwell PLCs. * Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. Rigorous, autonomous, and detail-oriented. Teamwork and effective communication in multidisciplinary environments. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Responsiveness and decision-making capability.
