If you are a professional passionate about innovation, eager to take on challenges, and contribute to the development of large-scale energy projects, this is your opportunity! **About the Position:** As a High-Voltage Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the design, engineering, and execution of high-voltage electrical substation projects. Your expertise in electromechanical installation will be critical to ensuring the correct implementation of designs and compliance with the highest quality and safety standards. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams—from conceptualization through commissioning—guaranteeing both the technical and economic viability of projects. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Design and development of single-line diagrams and substation layout plans. * Preparation of detailed technical specifications for electrical equipment and apparatus. * Creation of detailed electromechanical installation drawings, ensuring accuracy and execution efficiency. * Design and calculation of medium- and high-voltage (MV/HV) lines, ensuring proper operation and safety. * Design and calculation of earthing grids for substations, optimizing protection against overvoltages and discharges. * Supervision and management of on-site electromechanical installation execution, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and regulations. ‍ * Active collaboration in the selection and evaluation of equipment and materials. * Ensuring compliance with current technical regulations, including familiarity with REE (Red Eléctrica de España) and/or Iberdrola standards. * Participation in projects developed using BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology, contributing your knowledge and experience. * Use and mastery of design and calculation tools such as PLSCAD. * Drafting of technical reports, project summaries, and documentation. * Management of technical communication with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. **What Are We Looking For?** We seek a professional with solid training in Electrical Engineering and demonstrable experience of at least five years in the design and electromechanical installation of high-voltage substations.
