Job Description At BABEL, we seek a Functional Expert in Healthcare Information Systems to lead engagement with end-user departments in the healthcare sector and act as the bridge between business and technology. The selected candidate will be responsible for gaining deep insight into business needs, processes, and strategy, translating them into efficient, organizationally aligned technological solutions—and actively participating in information systems projects and services. Key Responsibilities * Lead relationships with assigned user departments, understanding their needs, processes, and strategic objectives. * Identify and define, at a high level, the objectives, functional requirements, and needs of information systems. * Analyze implementation costs and value delivered, supporting decision-making on solution feasibility. * Propose functional and technological alternatives that optimize costs, timelines, and outcomes. * Holistically coordinate projects and services linked to user departments, proactively managing risks. * Define control plans, objective tracking, and KPI monitoring. * Serve as the liaison between users, the IT department, and other organizational teams. Requirements * University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Sciences, or related field. * Proven experience as a functional consultant, business analyst, or similar role in healthcare environments. * Knowledge of healthcare processes and associated information systems. * Experience in requirements definition, functional analysis, and business-technology coordination. * Economic analysis capability (cost/benefit) and decision-making orientation. * Strategic vision and results-driven mindset. * Desirable experience in project management and KPI tracking.
