Interact with hotel guests to enhance the service experience by activating services across all outlets within the lobby area (e.g.: Restaurant and Bar, Front Desk, Business Center, Lounge, etc.). Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g.: transportation, reservations, laundry), either handling the request directly or identifying appropriate vendors. Address special requests from guests with specific needs and follow up to ensure their satisfaction. Gather, summarize, and share local area knowledge to inform guests about property amenities and surrounding attractions, including special events and local activities. Contact the appropriate person or department (e.g.: Bell Staff, Housekeeping, Food \& Beverage Server) as needed to resolve a guest call, request, or issue. Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to a manager; complete safety training and certifications. Adhere to all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and fulfill guest service needs; assist guests with disabilities; and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and promptly; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees’ concerns. Meet quality control expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds (4.5 kg) or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Education:High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate.
