The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and planning the plant’s production as well as sourcing materials for production lines, temporarily replacing the current incumbent for a period of 7 months. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning \- Develop packaging plans based on customer orders and stock levels. \- Coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing, warehousing, and quality departments to validate and adjust planning. \- Communicate finalized plans to all relevant departments. Material Sourcing \- Calculate material requirements based on production plans. \- Place orders with suppliers, adhering to defined parameters. \- Ensure material availability to meet production plans. Inventory Management \- Establish and update optimal stock levels for finished goods and raw materials. \- Adjust planning to accommodate unplanned orders. \- Monitor compliance with established inventory targets. Cross-Departmental Collaboration \- Collaborate with packaging, manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, quality, and sales departments to ensure achievement of objectives.
