Therefore, we are seeking a Junior Project Engineer to join our Engineering team at the XPS plant in Vallmoll. Responsibilities * Analysis and optimization of XPS production processes. * Participation in technical meetings with production, maintenance, quality, and other plants. * Direct interaction with suppliers, both in technical discussions and commercial negotiations. * Supervision and follow-up of mechanical modifications on machinery and industrial equipment. * Support in defining technical specifications for new equipment or modifications. * Monitoring of projects and start-ups (with occasional stays at other plants). * Application of problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement. * Contribution to improving process efficiency, quality, and safety. * Generation of technical documentation and support in process digitalization. * Intensive learning, both in technical aspects of machinery and processes, and in commercial negotiation, aiming to become a Senior XPS Engineer. Requirements * Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering. * Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and proficiency in Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, SharePoint, Adobe PDF). * Fluent English required (minimum level: First Certificate). Knowledge of a second language (French, German, Italian, or Portuguese) or a strong willingness to learn one will be positively considered. * Availability to travel (1\-3 days per week, 2\-3 times per month). * Remote work is not considered. * Young profile, eager to learn, with healthy ambition and proactive attitude. * Ability to work in a team, with strong social and communication skills. * Experience in informal leadership roles (e.g., instructor, coach, older sibling, etc.). * Results-oriented mindset and problem-solving ability: capable of identifying root causes and providing definitive solutions.
