Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Summer Monitor to facilitate recreational activities for children and youth, eager to work as part of a team and ensure a fun and safe summer. Key Responsibilities: 1. Facilitate recreational activities and accompany groups of children and youth. 2. Promote active participation and adapt activities to participants' ages. 3. Organized jointly by the Open Centre and the Youth Service, the Vilassar Youth Summer Camp seeks motivated, proactive, and experienced monitors to make it happen. What will your role be? You will be a key part of the camp’s daily operations: facilitating recreational activities, accompanying groups of children, and helping ensure every day is fun, safe, and value-driven. You will work side-by-side with the monitoring team, contributing energy, initiative, and a positive atmosphere to every activity. In short: motivate, support, and make every day meaningful. What do we seek in you? Individuals with experience facilitating activities for children and youth, possessing a positive attitude and enthusiasm for collaborative work. If you see yourself joining such a team this summer… we’re waiting for you! - Ensure participants’ physical and emotional well-being. \- Ensure participants’ safety. \- Prepare and facilitate playful and educational activities. \- Promote active participation of participants. \- Adapt activities to the group’s age range and characteristics * 1 year of experience. \- Experience facilitating activities with children and youth * Competencies / Knowledge: Leisure Monitor Certification (ROPELL); prior experience facilitating activities.
