We seek a professional for maintenance tasks in an industrial environment within the food sector. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery, following quality, safety, and environmental procedures. Resource planning and optimization are required to avoid unplanned downtime.
Technical duties include analyzing safety manuals, liaising with suppliers, and recording actions in a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Spare parts stock is also managed to enable rapid interventions. Organizational skills, prioritization ability, and proactive communication are valued. The position requires knowledge of electricity, mechanics, and industrial systems, as well as training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food handling.
A vocational qualification in Installation and Maintenance is required—either through a Vocational Training Program, a Professional Certification, or Occupational Training. A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in similar maintenance roles is essential, preferably within the food industry. Candidates must possess basic occupational health and safety training, as well as specific training in electrical, thermal, and fluid installations. Additionally, training in technical report preparation and knowledge of Best Available Techniques (BAT) are required, along with training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food handling. Technically, proficiency is required in electricity, industrial maintenance, electrical panel installation, electrical systems, use of electric and mechanical tools, and mechanics. Valued competencies include organizational ability, operational leadership, teamwork, results orientation, problem-solving capability, and effective communication.
