In recent years, the company has made a significant investment in its proprietary technology infrastructure, including cloud platforms and internal solutions, aiming to scale its operations and strengthen global control over its data. The Barcelona hub plays a key role in this transformation, contributing to the development of core platforms used internationally. Currently, they are looking for a new Data Engineer. You will join the Cybersecurity – Vulnerability team, building a key platform that centralizes and processes vulnerability data at scale. Basic Requirements **Responsibilities** * Design and develop systems processing millions of events daily * Build data pipelines (batch and real-time) * Develop backend logic in Python (not just pipelines) * Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., Splunk, ServiceNow, Salesforce) * Model data for efficient consumption * Ensure data quality, availability, and integrity * Participate in architecture decisions **Technology Stack** * Python, PySpark * Kafka, Airflow, DBT * Microservices and event-driven architectures * Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD * Cloud: STACKIT (Kubernetes) + migration to Google Cloud **What We’re Looking For** * Solid Python experience (production level) * Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing * Background in data pipelines (ELT) * Knowledge of distributed systems * Engineering mindset * Experience working in international environments (high-level English proficiency). **Nice-to-Have:** * Cybersecurity experience * Kafka, Airflow, DBT, Kubernetes, cloud Desired Requirements **Conditions and Benefits** * Flexible hybrid model (8 days/month in office) * Salary: 40-55K * Central office location (Plaza Catalunya) **Benefits** * (~€3,500/year): Meal vouchers, transportation allowance. * Private health insurance * Remote work allowance * Wellbeing budget (€300/year) * Language classes (2h/week) * Training (courses, master’s programs) 40,000€-55,000€ Barcelona Hybrid **Contact Person:** ncouto@q-techrec.com 638 529 548
