Currently, we are seeking a **Senior Data Engineer** to join our data team at our offices in Lleida. **Your Impact** As a **Senior Data Engineer**, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines and systems. You will lead the evolution of our Lakehouse architecture and ensure reliable data availability for analytics, reporting, and advanced projects, collaborating closely with technical and business teams. **What will you do on a daily basis?** * Design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines integrating multiple sources (CRM, ERP, marketing, tracking), ensuring quality and reliability for analytics, ML, and reporting. * Lead Lakehouse architecture (S3, Iceberg/Delta Lake), modeling and versioning (snapshots, SCD), deploying with dbt core and orchestrating with Glue, Dagster, or Airflow. * Automate manual processes using CI/CD, automated testing, and advanced monitoring. * Define best practices and scalable development frameworks for the data team. * Collaborate with technical and business profiles, translating requirements into effective solutions. * Document solutions, models, and metadata, promoting quality standards and regulatory compliance. * Optimize performance and scalability of existing pipelines and models. * Technically lead Agile projects, mentoring other team members. **What are we looking for in you?** * +3 years of experience in designing and maintaining pipelines in cloud environments (preferably AWS). * Advanced proficiency in SQL, dbt, and Python (ideally PySpark). * Experience with orchestrators such as Dagster or Airflow. * Knowledge of Lakehouse architectures, columnar formats (Parquet), ACID (Iceberg, Delta Lake). * Experience with CI/CD, version control (Git/Bitbucket), and Agile environments. * Strong communication and technical leadership skills. * Experience with BI tools (Qlik, Power BI), data catalog, data quality (Great Expectations), and ML/AI pipelines will be valued. **What do we offer?** * Indefinite contract. * Flexible working hours: arrival between 8:00–9:30 AM and departure between 5:00–6:30 PM (1-hour break).
