Job Summary:
Administrative assistant responsible for preparing, processing, and organizing documentation and correspondence, using computer equipment, and providing public service.

Qualifications: GRADUATE OF ESO OR EQUIVALENT; Professional Certificates: ACTIC MEDIUM LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE (CATALONIA) OR HIGHER; Languages: CATALAN, PROFICIENCY LEVEL; Professional Level: ASSISTANTS, SUPPORT STAFF AND SPECIALISTS; Contract Type: TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT; 120 DAYS (4 MONTHS); Working Hours: 35 HOURS PER WEEK, MONDAY–FRIDAY MORNING. WORK IS ALSO CARRIED OUT ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON
\- Possession of a valid work permit for Spain. \- Absence of any physical or mental illness or defect that would impede the normal performance of the corresponding duties, without prejudice to legislation concerning social integration of persons with disabilities. \- Not being legally disqualified from holding public office. Not having been dismissed for disciplinary reasons from any public administration or public position.
* FIRST STAGE OF SECONDARY EDUCATION WITH DIPLOMA

* Competencies / Knowledge: \- Preparing and processing documentation and correspondence, ensuring correct execution of standard procedures applicable to each destination. \- Organizing the unit’s archive. \- Drafting routine documents within their area of responsibility, as well as drafting and dispatching the unit’s correspondence. \- Preparing documentation required for tasks falling under the unit’s responsibilities. \- Completing standardized and printed forms (of an economic and administrative nature). \- Using computer equipment for data entry and/or retrieval, and performing calculations. \- Creating and updating files in manual or electronic format. \- Classifying and archiving correspondence and documentation. \- Providing public service. \- Proposing initiatives to improve administration and services provided to clients. \- Managing financial aspects within their area of responsibility. \- Keeping up-to-date with internal regulations concerning matters under the unit’s jurisdiction. \- Any other similar duties assigned by superiors, consistent with the functions inherent to their professional category and technical training.

* Other relevant information: Mandatory requirements: \- Possession of a valid work permit for Spain. \- ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education) diploma or equivalent. \- Absence of any physical or mental illness or defect that would impede the normal performance of the corresponding duties, without prejudice to legislation concerning social integration of persons with disabilities. \- Not being legally disqualified from holding public office. \- Not having been dismissed for disciplinary reasons from any public administration or public position. \- Catalan language proficiency at C1 level or higher, as defined by the Government of Catalonia, or equivalent. \- Computer skills at user level: word processor, spreadsheet, database, and web page. Non-mandatory requirements, considered during selection as specific training and additional criteria: \- Knowledge of academic management, financial management, and administrative management. \- ACTIC certification. \- Experience delivering services in any public administration.
