Grape Harvest and Winery Worker

Description

This position focuses on the fundamental tasks involved in wine production during the harvest season. Key responsibilities include receiving grapes from the vineyards, monitoring their arrival and unloading into designated hoppers. Subsequently, pressing operations will be carried out to extract the must, as well as necessary punch-down or pump-over procedures during fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. The worker will also be responsible for deep cleaning and maintenance of these tanks, vats, and other winery equipment to ensure optimal hygiene and working conditions. The ideal candidate is a person highly inclined toward physical labor and teamwork, capable of adapting to the intense pace characteristic of the harvest campaign. A proactive and responsible attitude is required, as winery operations demand strict adherence to established procedures to guarantee final product quality. The work environment is industrial, located within an active winery; therefore, strong awareness of safety and hygiene practices is essential. The job is entirely based in Montblanc, within the province of Tarragona, and it is essential that the candidate has autonomy to commute to the workplace. The campaign has a fixed duration and requires full availability for the assigned shift, implying exclusive dedication during this period. One year of relevant experience is required, preferably in wineries, olive oil mills, agricultural campaigns, or industrial sectors such as food processing, chemicals, or packaging. It is mandatory to have a personal vehicle for commuting and full-time availability for immediate start.
