Job Summary: We are seeking a nurse for a senior residence to intervene in admissions, assess and develop care plans, and participate in the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents' well-being. Key Responsibilities: 1. Intervention in the resident admission and adaptation process 2. Development and evaluation of the Nursing Care Plan (NCP) 3. Interdisciplinary collaboration for continuous improvement of the facility A nurse is required for a senior residence. Intervene in the admission process, collect and provide information on functional aspects within the nursing domain that staff must know to facilitate integration and adaptation to the facility—both for the resident and their family. • Assess the individual upon admission and develop the Nursing Care Plan (NCP). • Ensure, jointly with the rest of the team, the resident’s and family’s proper adaptation to the facility while respecting relational customs and cultural diversity. • Promote family integration into the care process and support for the resident’s emotional and relational needs, in coordination with the rest of the team. • Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards for users and respect for the right to privacy. • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to develop, evaluate, and revise each resident’s Individual Care Plan. • Apply nursing-specific techniques. • Prepare, distribute, administer, and monitor prescribed medications and treatments by the medical professional. • Conduct ongoing assessment of basic needs of those receiving care. • Promote preventive measures and health education in coordination with primary healthcare teams. • Plan and implement health education activities. • In case of a user’s health deterioration, in the absence of the residential center’s physician, take measures aimed at ensuring appropriate healthcare according to the center’s established protocol. • Identify and provide comfort care, assistance, and appropriate information to the individual, family, and others involved during the end-of-life process. • Prevent excessive medical intervention or therapeutic obstinacy. • Collaborate with other professionals to maximize comfort for the individual during the terminal phase using nursing-specific techniques. • Collaborate in staff training on practices. • Participate, together with the interdisciplinary team, in ethics committees and other related activities. • Develop and participate in research, teaching, and management projects within the field of nursing. • Actively participate, together with the rest of the team, in the facility’s quality improvement plans. • Participate, according to the established schedule, in sessions dedicated to developing, monitoring, and evaluating each user’s care plan, contributing assessments specific to the nursing domain. Jointly establish, with other professionals and the user or their reference person, goals aimed at maintaining or restoring health status and functional autonomy. • Participate in developing and periodically reviewing clinical protocols in the field of nursing. • Participate in preparing the facility’s annual activity report and other studies and reports, providing data relevant to the nursing domain. • Participate in and contribute to the interdisciplinary team’s continuing education activities. • Plan, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate gerontological auxiliary staff’s clinical tasks, wherever such involvement may enhance quality. * Experience: 1 month.
