Job Summary: We are seeking a gerocultural worker for a senior residence to participate in welcoming, tutoring, and promoting the autonomy of residents, as well as collaborating in their holistic care. Collaboration in recreational, rehabilitative, and emotional support activities. We are seeking a gerocultural worker for a senior residence. Participate, together with other professionals of the interdisciplinary team, in the reception and welcoming of the resident. \u2022 Assume responsibility for the resident's tutoring according to the center's system and monitor it, observing any changes that may occur. \u2022 Promote autonomy in accordance with the resident's needs and the instructions of the Interdisciplinary Individual Care Plan (IICP). \u2022 Ensure the resident feels at home in a familiar environment. \u2022 Promote, assist with, or perform personal hygiene, depending on the resident's needs and the IICP. \u2022 Monitor and promote personal care and appearance. \u2022 Address and prevent elimination-related issues and manage sphincter incontinence. \u2022 Prevent pressure ulcers (skin hydration, use of cushions, postural changes). \u2022 Provide and administer food, facilitating intake where required, and correctly using technical aids if necessary. \u2022 Detect whether the prescribed diet meets the resident's needs. \u2022 Collaborate in the proper administration of medications and in performing certain treatments according to healthcare staff guidelines. \u2022 Maintain room order and hygienic-sanitary conditions of the room and personal belongings. \u2022 Collaborate in maintaining technical aids (prostheses, orthoses, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, restraints, etc.). Apply basic accident prevention techniques according to safety protocols. \u2022 Prepare the resident for emergency transfers and provide accompaniment, supervision, and support when needed, supplying minimum required information to relevant professionals. \u2022 Develop and/or collaborate in recreational and leisure activities. \u2022 Collaborate in psychological, rehabilitative, and occupational maintenance and training activities and exercises. \u2022 Accompany residents in recreational activities outside the facility. \u2022 Promote communication and interpersonal, social, and human relationships among residents, using alternative communication systems where appropriate. \u2022 Respond to conflict situations and resolve incidents within one's scope of competence, reporting them, if necessary, to the competent professional. \u2022 Provide emotional support and accompany residents through loss and grief processes. \u2022 Accompany residents during their terminal stage. \u2022 Perform post-mortem care, if applicable. \u2022 Apply various intervention protocols and organize basic work documentation. \u2022 Record interventions performed for each resident and note any changes in their condition or any incidents. * Experience: 1 month.
