Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Etelecom General Manager and functionally to the Group CTO, your responsibilities will include: **Position Mission:** We seek to incorporate into our team a proactive Network and VoIP Communications Specialist Technician with a strong technical foundation. You will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our clients’ network infrastructures, servers, and telephony systems—ensuring maximum reliability, performance, and security. **Key Functions and Responsibilities:** * Network Design and Implementation: Lead network infrastructure deployment projects (routing, switching, firewalls, enterprise WiFi, wireless links) from requirement gathering through to go-live. * VoIP Administration: Fully manage IP-based PBX systems; configure SIP trunks, extensions, and call routing plans. Resolve incidents related to voice quality and signaling. * Virtualized Server Management: Administer our Proxmox-based virtualization environment, ensuring proper operation, backup, and recovery of virtual machines (Linux/Windows Server). * Maintenance and Support: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on network infrastructure at both logical and physical levels (cabling, racks). Provide specialized technical support to clients and the commercial team. * Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Research and evaluate emerging market technologies to propose improvements and innovative solutions that add value for our clients. * On-Call Duties: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to address critical incidents outside regular working hours. Requirements * Experience: Minimum of 3\-5 years in a similar role managing networks and communications systems within enterprise environments. * Networking Knowledge (Mandatory): * Solid knowledge of routing and switching, equivalent to CCNA or similar certification. * Demonstrable experience configuring VLANs, OSPF, BGP, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), and firewall policies. * Experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise WiFi solutions (e.g., Ubiquiti UniFi, Aruba, Meraki, or similar). * VoIP Knowledge (Mandatory): * Advanced experience administering IP-PBX systems such as 3CX, Asterisk, Issabel, Grandstream, or similar. * In-depth knowledge of the SIP protocol and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark). * Virtualization Knowledge (Mandatory): * Solid experience administering virtualization environments, especially Proxmox VE. * Operating Systems: Proficient use of Linux (command-line level) and Windows Server. * Education: Higher Vocational Training (ASIR, STI) or university degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. * Competencies: Problem-solving oriented, analytical, organized, with strong communication skills and customer focus. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Official certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.). * Experience with networking equipment from vendors such as MikroTik, Fortinet, or Ubiquiti. * Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python) for task automation. * Network security knowledge (IDS/IPS, WAF).
