WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? A RECEPTION ASSISTANT for our reception team at the MedPlaya Hotel Monterrey. This is a seasonal hotel (open from June to September), a 3-star property with 116 rooms, located in Platja d’Aro (Girona). As a Medplaya Reception Assistant, your responsibilities will include: \- Participating with a certain degree of autonomy and responsibility in reception tasks, supporting the Reception Manager and front desk staff under their supervision. \- Monitoring and planning room occupancy. \- Supervising documentation and reservations for guest arrivals. \- Registering guests: check-in and check-out. \- Communicating any incidents to other departments. \- Providing guest assistance during their stay. \- Understanding guest needs and offering recommendations. \- Performing other duties related to the position. * Experience: 1 year. More than one year of reception experience * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * English (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * French (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? (REQUIREMENTS) \- Minimum one year of experience in duties related to this position. \- Proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory. Knowledge of French, German, and other languages is highly valued. \- Advanced computer skills are required. \- Tourism-related education is considered an asset. \- We seek a person with strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, organizational skills, customer orientation, and excellent interpersonal manners. \- Ability to work effectively in a team. \- Availability to work on weekends and holidays. * Permanent employment contract * Full-time schedule * Gross monthly salary: 1750 * Additional information of interest: WHAT DO WE OFFER?
