Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced warehouse assistant to handle loading, unloading, and placement of goods; operate pallet trucks; and demonstrate commitment to food safety and occupational health and safety (OHS). Focus on food safety, quality, and risk prevention We seek an experienced warehouse assistant responsible for loading, unloading, and placement of goods. Proficiency in operating manual or electric pallet trucks is essential, as is a valid driver’s license for occasional deliveries. Knowledge of food safety protocols (HACCP), product traceability control, and experience in picking are considered advantageous. The candidate must be organized and capable of maintaining order and efficiency. Production: o Organize resources to carry out assigned shipments according to the terms and conditions specified in orders. o Verify pre-operational activities: cleaning, detection of foreign objects, and preparation of work equipment. o Store goods and monitor available storage space, complying with IFS standards. o Ensure receipt of information regarding scheduled main supplies from administration (ERP). o Load and unload trucks, as well as strap and prepare pallets for shipment. o Prepare orders for production areas based on production planning. o Assign batches to received raw and auxiliary materials after verifying quality, quantity, and temperature according to documentation with the following codes: R\-PRO\-EN V.3, R\-PRO\-RECONCAL, and R\-PRO\-RECONCAL\-M.AUX. o Coordinate with personnel from other departments as required. Quality and Food Safety: o Visually inspect quality and verify truck temperature at the loading dock; perform documentary checks; conduct pest inspections on trucks; etc. o Store raw materials and auxiliary materials in the warehouse in accordance with IFS standards. o Monitor quality and food safety standards established by the Quality Department. o Implement food safety protocols in case of production incidents: foreign bodies, refrigeration equipment failures, etc. Occupational Risk Prevention: o Comply fully with all applicable OHS regulations, criteria, and instructions received through training and information; strictly observe OHS signage present at the workstation and on machinery, immediately reporting any incident. o Propose improvements related to productivity, processes, workspace organization, OHS in all its aspects, etc. o Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for this type of work and promptly inform the HR Department in case of damage or breakage. o Maintain order, cleanliness, and upkeep of the regular workplace. * Experience: 1 year.
