Continuous professional development and teamwork DESCRIPTION Eosol Group is looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on an exciting OIL&GAS project. This is an exceptional opportunity for those seeking professional growth in an international and dynamic environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the mechanical team at the project site. * Ensure compliance with Eosol Group’s and the client’s established safety, quality, and environmental procedures. * Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, valves, piping, and other critical systems. * Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential failures or wear and propose corrective actions. * Manage spare parts and materials inventory, ensuring availability for operations. * Interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and operation manuals. * Resolve complex technical issues and ensure rapid fault resolution. * Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. * Collaborate closely with other departments—including operations, engineering, and safety—to ensure project efficiency and success. * Foster a safe and productive work environment, promoting team members’ professional development. * Manage personnel under supervision, including task assignment, performance evaluation, and training. * Ensure all activities comply with OIL&GAS industry standards. * Participate in project planning and progress review meetings. * Implement and supervise safety guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work permit procedures. * Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance and operational processes. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in the OIL&GAS sector. * Solid knowledge of mechanical maintenance for rotating and static equipment typical in the oil and gas industry. * Experience managing work teams and supervising technical staff. * Knowledge of industrial safety regulations and standards, especially in high-risk environments. * 60-hour Occupational Health and Safety Training (PRL). * Availability to work in Portugal and potential international mobility. **Desirable Skills (Preferred):** * Intermediate or advanced level of English (spoken and written). * Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). * Ability to interpret P&ID diagrams. * Experience in construction or maintenance projects for oil and gas facilities. **We Offer:** * Opportunity to join a large-scale project in the OIL&GAS sector. * International and multicultural work environment. * Continuous professional development. * Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. * Possibility of expatriation and support throughout the process.
