A better future? **Job Description** ------------------- Drives the continuous improvement of supply with constraint Suppliers. Responsible for balancing inventories throughout the Electronics and Wiring Plants when a supplier has capacity and/or supply constraints. Will typically be responsible for managing both the manufacturing plant and suppliers on those constraint raw material part numbers. **Responsibilities** -------------------- * Manage suppliers to resolve escalated critical supply constraints and ensure continuity of supply into Lear's manufacturing facilities * Work with external suppliers and Lear internal cross functional teams (manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing) as the leader in complex escalations to drive short and long\-term corrective actions * Work closely with the commodity purchasing team to provide insight and guidance on market and supplier capacity * Develops Allocation strategies with both Suppliers and Manufacturing plants to achieve results * Support materials teams with escalations on immediate supply crisis for resolution **Skills** ---------- Vendor Management Emergency Management Adaptability Incident Command Systems Collaboration Operational Risk Relationship Management Resilience Crisis Management**Experience Requirements** --------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree * Minimum 8 years of supply chain experienceBachelor’s degree * Fluent in English **Equal Opportunity Employer** ------------------------------ *Lear Corporation is committed to fair, merit‑based employment practices and equal opportunity.* *We provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
