




Position Summary: A mutual insurance company collaborating with the Spanish Social Security System seeks a Graduate or Licensed Physician to provide emergency and scheduled medical care, as well as management of healthcare-related administrative processes. Collaboration in judicial proceedings and control of healthcare expenditure **Umi****vale Activa**, a mutual insurance company collaborating with the Spanish Social Security System that guarantees advisory services to companies and healthcare protection for workers, requires a Graduate or Licensed Physician. Among other duties, and reporting directly to the department head, the candidate will be responsible for the following functions: **Clinical Responsibilities** * Emergency and scheduled medical consultations for work-related accidents and occupational diseases. * Patient reception (medical history, evolution, and follow-up). * Determination of the type of contingency. * Clinical examination according to protocols and complementary tests. * Diagnosis, treatment application and follow-up. * Functional capacity assessment. **Administrative Responsibilities:** * Sick leave management, return-to-work procedures, and Home Assistance Discharge (HAD) (e.g., referrals to specialists, RHB, Psychology, IQ); absences. * Proposals for discharge from disability status, approval of direct payments, ATRIUM system usage, medical reports (for patients or the National Institute of Social Security - INSS), and reporting on occupational diseases. * Monitoring of contracted healthcare centers’ processes. * Telephone supervision (delegated). * Telephone assistance for inquiries, calls to SMEs, and coordination with public agencies (INSS, Labour Inspection). * Collaboration in judicial proceedings. * Recommendations regarding appropriate health habits. * Radiography (RX), maintenance of medical supplies and equipment. * Workload management (scheduling appointments and correspondence), recording actions in NEOS, reviewing and supervising active sick leaves, contributing to workflow methodologies, controlling healthcare expenditure, and supporting anti-fraud initiatives.
